Ingredients

  • 142 g ready-cooked steak strips 5 oz, walmart!
  • 6 g oil
  • 70 g bell peppers sliced
  • 70 g onions sliced
  • 2 slices ultra-thin provolone
  • 210 g low-fat cottage cheese
  • Smoky salt and black pepper optional

Instructions

  • Sauté peppers and onions in oil with salt until tender-crisp and lightly browned, 5–7 minutes.
  • Heat steak: air fryer 400°F for 5 minutes or skillet 2–3 minutes until hot.
  • Melt provolone over the hot steak (air fryer 3 minutes or cover skillet 1–2 minutes).
  • Add cottage cheese to a bowl. Top with steak and veggies. Season with smoky salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Mushrooms are a great add-in for a cheesesteak feel; macros will change.
  • Covering the skillet helps melt cheese fast without drying the steak.
