Oven broiled pork chops are an easy dinner! You can quickly cook juicy bone-in or boneless pork chops within minutes to have a healthy meal last minute. These are perfect for a keto dinner, Paleo and Whole30 lunch, or low-carb meal prep! What a wonderful comfort food!

FAST WAY TO COOK

I had small pork chops, and they cooked up quick! I'm talking just 4 minutes on each side. This was the easiest dinner to throw together. You won't believe how fast these are to make!

If you have larger pork chops the juicier they'll be but the longer it will take to cook.

HOW LONG TO BROIL PORK CHOPS

Smaller chops: 4-5 minutes per side
¾ inch chops: 7-8 minutes per side
1 inch+ chops: 8-10 minutes per side

Bake until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.

EASY WAY TO COOK

There's nothing easier than brushing a small amount of oil on each chop and sprinkling them in salt and pepper. Throw them in the oven, turn once, and within minutes dinner is ready!

GLAZING? BROIL RACK?

I made broiled pork chops with a thick garlic honey glaze. Because I didn't use a rack, all the juices from cooking washed the glaze off my chops (as shown in my video). You can use a baking sheet as I did, but you'll want a rack to elevate the pork from the juices if using a glaze.

SEASONINGS & RUBS

While a simple salt and pepper will do, feel free to rub spices to your pork chop for extra flavor! Just be sure to coat the pork chop with spices in a little oil, so the herbs don't burn.

ADJUSTING YOUR TOP RACK

Every oven is different, but it's important to notice where the top rack is slotted in your oven. Because the heating element will be super hot (500 degrees!), you'll want a bit of space not to burn the meat or spices during cooking.

I placed my top rack on the 3rd rung down from the top, approx. 6 inches from the heating element.

I will be making this tonight, as I find all the recipes for cooking the whole pork loin to be a bit worrisome since we here all hate overcooked meat. And, I know I will overcook a whole pork loin (don't ask me why). So... let's try this one out and I will be back with my verdict!

I just cooked the best pork loin! I used my crockpot, added broth, and cooked it all day on low. Then I shredded it and mixed the drippings into the meat. I portioned out some for dinner that night and the rest I put in sandwich bags and into the freezer. It's the absolute best to have shredded pork ready to go in the freezer and not have to worry about it going bad. I'm going to make another one as soon as I use up what's in the freezer.
